I’m going to stop saying “week # of running) because I’ve gotten a bit lost. A hurricane came and completely messed up my running schedule. Not to mention some stress from school and still learning to juggle my schedule have also made it tough. However, I am glad to say that I have still been running. It may not be on the same days and times that I was running on before, but I definitely have been continuing and I have been getting better and faster. My set backs have been fatigue from a variety of causes, posture, and the need for a new pair of shoes.
I can honestly say that the difference between me now and before I started running is that I believe in myself. In fact, I have so much confidence that it actually feels strange when I don’t make at least 30 minutes of time available to run (or at least walk). They say it takes 21 days to make a habit; well this took me nearly 4 months. I’m so glad that I decided to start to look for a way to improve my health. If you would’ve told me, 4 months ago when I started off, literally walking for 20 minutes, 2-3 times per week, that I would be running- I wouldn’t even believe you.
